Thank you for making educational dreams come true through the Washington Apple Education Foundation!
Though this has been a year of obstacles, much has been achieved at WAEF thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers.
- This year the Washington apples license plate was passed! The plates will provide a regular source of revenue for WAEF. Right now, over 400 plates are on Washington roads.
- Over $1 million in scholarships were awarded to students from our communities providing opportunities for 300 students to attend college with tree fruit industry scholarships.
- The new scholarship training website, www.scholarshipresources.org, was launched to help students research and apply for scholarships. The site was created in response to Covid to help students stay on track.
- 79 WAEF students graduated from college. Even in the current market, 60% graduated with career jobs secured.
- WAEF students were introduced to nine career fields via Zoom conferences and were able to participate in 11 professional development sessions. Just this week, 56 students had their resumes reviewed or participated in mock interviews with committed volunteers.
During the holidays and always, we appreciate the generosity of tree fruit industry members and supporters that make a difference in the lives of amazing, driven young people. Thank you!

I mean, I know it was my option to read, however I really thought youd have one thing interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you may repair when you werent too busy searching for attention.
