Dalay Ledezma is a WAEF graduate from the Class of 2026 who graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Raised by a single mother, Dalay was the only one among her siblings to attend college. Reaching this milestone was especially meaningful to her because pursuing a college education was a dream her mother deeply wanted to see her accomplish.
Dalay’s journey is a powerful example of determination, perseverance and the importance of family support. She worked hard to achieve a goal that was meaningful not only to her, but also to her mother.
