Alejandro, originally from Othello, Washington, graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Fruit and Vegetable Management. During his academic journey, he gained hands-on experience working summers in his grandparents’ apple orchard and completed an internship with G.S. Long. He consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning recognition on the President’s Honor Roll, and pursued his goal of consulting or managing orchards. Alejandro’s college years were marked by resilience and adaptability, including a campus transition and active networking within the tree fruit industry, which helped lay the foundation for his professional aspirations.
