Jennifer has been in the role of executive director with the Washington Apple Education Foundation since 2001.
She was raised in Chelan and recently moved to Wenatchee. Her family (Armbruster & Peebles) has been involved in the tree fruit industry for multiple generations as apple & cherry orchard owners and employees of the industry.
Jennifer has an MBA from Washington State University and a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Eastern Oregon University. She completed a course in Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management at Harvard Business School in 2017.She is married to her husband, Jay. Together they enjoy travel (18 countries, 26 states, and counting), hiking, and biking. She is a runner and avid reader.
