Making Time for What Matters

Session Description  College can feel like a constant balancing act between classes, work, activities, relationships and everything else competing for your time. In this session, Esmeralda will share practical tools for getting organized, scheduling your time and making progress on your priorities. She’ll also share lessons from her own experience balancing work and school, including what she learned about creating a healthier work-life balance.

About the Speaker Esmeralda Merlos is a member of the WAEF alumni and December 2024 graduate of Washington State University.  She currently works for AgroFresh as a Field Service Coordinator.  While attending college, she balanced school with work and learned firsthand how challenging it can be to manage competing priorities. She is passionate about sharing the strategies she learned, including some she learned the hard way, so other students can benefit from her experience.
