Brandon Flory Joins WAEF Board, Bringing Financial Expertise and a Heart for Mentorship

Brandon Flory serves as CFO of Gilbert Orchards and Sundquist Fruit and brings both financial expertise and a strong connection to the agricultural community in central Washington. Raised in the Naches area and a graduate of Washington State University, Brandon spent 12 years in public accounting before moving into his current role, always staying closely connected to the tree fruit industry.

Brandon was drawn to WAEF’s mission by the impact scholarships can have on students’ lives. “Getting scholarship support into students’ hands can truly change their path,” he shared. “With the cost of college today, it makes a real difference.” His own educational journey began at community colleges and continuing at WSU.  His experience reinforced for him how education opens doors, builds confidence and creates opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

As a board member, Brandon is especially excited about supporting students beyond scholarships. He is passionate about mentorship and sees opportunity in expanding access to career pathways, including trade schools. “There are so many ways for students to succeed,” he noted, emphasizing the importance of exposure to a variety of options.

Rooted in values of hard work and giving back instilled by his parents and community, Brandon is committed to helping the next generation succeed. He looks forward to being part of the scholarship process and contributing to WAEF’s continued growth and impact.
