Celebrating students and the community behind them
Every summer, the WAEF community gathers in Wenatchee and Yakima to celebrate our scholarship recipients, their families, and the generosity that helps students pursue their goals. The luncheons are a celebration of philanthropy, partnership, and the difference we can make when an industry comes together around its students.

The day
Lunch, recognition and the students' own stories
A couple of hours that turn a scholarship into a relationship.
Students are the guests of honor
Recipients and their parents come as guests of the industry. Each student is recognized by name, in front of the people who fund their education.
Sponsors host the tables
Companies bring their staff, clients and industry friends, and share their tables with students and parents. For many students, it is the first time they meet the people behind their scholarship.
Students tell their stories
Students take the podium to say what college means to them and what the support has made possible. Their stories are the heart of the day.
