I graduated in December from Washington State University with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. As of March, I passed the NCLEX examination and I am now officially a registered nurse! It has been a journey and one that would not have been possible without the generous and kind individuals who donate to organizations such as WAEF. College, as a rule, is challenging and I found nursing school to be more so! I was so incredibly grateful to have had scholarship support through WAEF during my time in college. It allowed me to put all of my time and focus on my school work. As a result, I was able to graduate from WSU with a 3.7 GPA and a wealth of knowledge. I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to those who supported my education. Those who provided scholarships for me also placed their trust in me and I did not take that lightly. I wanted to be worthy of their generous donations and I hope that they will look at my accomplishments as their accomplishments as well.
Currently I am applying for RN positions at Memorial. My dream job would be a position as an RN in the birthing center, as a mother/baby nurse. I have my fingers crossed that I will be accepted soon!
