We Wish Jose the Best!

Jose with WAEF staff at the $1 Million scholarship announcement this spring.

Jose Hernandez, our capable scholarship program coordinator, has accepted a new position in Moses Lake with Big Bend Community College.  Jose will be working for the college's financial aid office.

While at WAEF Jose impacted strong growth in our scholarship training program reaching nearly 4000 students last year!  He has also been instrumental in growing our outreach to current scholarship recipients and their parents to make the most of each scholarship investment.

He will be missed!  This does create an opportunity for someone else with a desire to impact the lives of college-bound young people.  Interested in learning more?  Details are on our website, www.waef.org/waef-employment
