Last week Northwest Farm Credit Services honored retiring senior vice president Jeff Hattori following his nearly 25 years with the company with a $10,000 donation toward the creation of a scholarship fund in Jeff's name at the Washington Apple Education Foundation. The first Jeff Hattori scholarship will be awarded in the spring of 2017.
You are invited to support this scholarship in Jeff's honor. Contributions can be made online, please note "Jeff Hattori Scholarship", or by utilizing the pledge form.
This spring WAEF will award grants up to $5000 each to community and school programs providing English as a Second Language (ESL) opportunities to farmworker families through the WAEF Farmworker Education Program.

Deadline to apply is June 1, 2016. Funding decisions will be communicated by mid-July.
