What does it mean?
Tree fruit growers are sending students to college. Your donation of a "bin" is matched by donations from Henry Sanguinetti, Orchard-rite, and Wilbur Ellis Company* during our Donate A Bin Fundraiser. While we all love our tree fruit, when you donate a "bin" you are not actually donating a physical bin. You are contributing financially to the Washington Apple Education Foundation programs that provide access to educational opportunities. Each $100 "bin" is matched in donations. Therefore, when you donate $100, you are really donating $300, $200=$600, $300=$900 and so on!
Who does it benefit?
Your donations benefit hundreds of students within the tree fruit industry! This year, tree fruit industry organizations awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarships through WAEF and sent over 200 students to college. Your donations help fund the programs that provide these opportunities.
